The Foundation for Astronomy and Spirituality, Inc., is a non-profit scientific and educational
corporation, with tax exempt status as a 501(c)(3) entity under the Internal Revenue Code.
All donations to the Foundation are tax exempt to the full extent of the law.
Broadly, the aims of the Foundation are:
to excite peoples' curiosity about the sky,
to encourage people to pay close attention to the Universe and natural world,
to enhance peoples' sense of connection to the Universe, and
to inspire people to lead lives of great richness, meaning, and joy.
To accomplish these goals, the Foundation for Astronomy and Spirituality, Inc. will
engage in activities and offer a wide variety of
programs. Through some of these Foundation activities and programs, the building and visiting of
astronomically
aligned stone circles around the world will be promoted, and participants in programs will
learn the 'everyday astronomy' which these stone circles indicate. An increased
understanding of everyday astronomy will bring to peoples' lives a greater
enjoyment and appreciation of the natural world.
And the regular use of astronomically aligned stone circles -- to connect
with the Sun, Moon and seasons -- will promote a way of being in this world
which is a gentler way and in greater harmony with the All That Is.
